Schuberth is back on Stage !

Postby FredeR1200Ric » Wed Jul 28, 2010 10:28 pm

Hummm... Yes Schuberth helmet is back on US market in just a few weeks...
45 days exactly as I heard from a reliable sources.

US prices might be slightly more affordable than in Europe
for some or many of their products.

And below is the product I might freaking buy from the US distributor (if available)
http://www.designerhelmets.com/proddetail.php?art_no=SCH_C3_SRC&prod=C3&cat=Schuberth&info=3&sale=0

Hope this information help a few members...
Cheers !

PS: No ! the oblong red stuff over my head on my avatar picture
is not made by Schuberth therefore it will not be available from US distributors.

Whoo hoot! Now I no longer need to plan my clandestine run across the border up north ... also, it will be good to be able to "try them on" eventually down here. I can wait a few months for this. Thanks for the update!

They were at the MOA rally this year showing off their line - $1100 (!) for helmet and communications system (integrated Cardo electronics). It was very comfortable trying it on under the tent, but for that money I can get a pair of the screaming neon Scorpion 900s and a set of Cardo units and have money left over. (With earplugs and behind the tall CalSci screen, the Scorpion was quieter than any recent helmet I have used and the music from the Zumo was almost too loud.)

OUCH!! Let go of my hand ... at $1100, they probably ought to go back and review their economic analysis!

I guess a cardo unit might be another alternative ... just never considered it. Believe I would spend the $1K on a good pair of headphones *before* I would consider that much money on a Helmet. At that price, my Arai/Shoei helmets are probably sufficient right now.

Hell, I just bought a new Shoei RF1100 in Cali for $319. That's a good deal AFAIAC.

Schuberth's are nice and everything but not THAT nice (they actually have some on sale here (Vancouver) that are still too much money.)

Dammit! I just went to Italy to pick up a C3 not a month ago.

Now the whole trip was a waste.
