I've never seen anything like that, but then I never looked. At one point I went to a local accessories store and bought some clear film to put on the tank think contact paper in grandma's kitchen cabnets. It still hangs on pegboard in my shop.

Thanks for the reply dumbfounded......But, that's not what I'm looking for.
I don't want to take away from the beauty of the tank BMW designed for the bike, which, IMO covers like these do...Image I just fail to see the use in these. If you're protecting something by covering it completely up then why are you protecting it ?

And the clear cover just looks tacky; reminds me of folks who cover their furniture with plastic.

I'm looking for this Image and haven't found anything for the R12R. IMO opinion this covers just the parts of the tank you need protected: things like your belt buckle and knees while leaving the bulk of the tank and it's BMW graphics still on display.

Maybe I can get one custom made.

bra's on vehicles is so............. 1990's. 8)

how about some of that modern clear film protector you can get that works without getting dust under it and scratching the paint it's supposed to be protecting like I remember car bra's doing - back in the 90's when nothing was cooler that a IROC-Z with a bra on it.

That little half bra on the Suzuki doesn't strike me as all that ugly but the full coverage Sunday-go-To-Meeting D-Cup bra is more than I like. not for me.

If it is just protection you are looking for, there is the Wunderlich tank pad set - have the side pieces on mine and they look great. I am not enamored of the center piece, so it is sitting on a shelf right now - have not felt or seen the need for it yet.

Just picked up my R last Thursday. I noticed the tank is protected from my legs by the seat. I'm going to think on what might scratch the tank elsewhere, like belt buckles, zippers, etc.....

I've put over 500 miles on it in three days.....having a ball....love the paint.....and this post is just an excuse to show it off !!!
