Sorry to trouble everyone with another 'Won't start' thread - I have read so many of the similar threads with no luck - 2001 R1150R - didn't see asphalt for two years! but did start it a few times last year - last week installed brand new battery PC680 (v13.2), dumped all gas, put in fresh high octane gas, on neutral, side stand up, kill switch in middle position - no fuel pump sound when I turn on ignition - starter seems to work fine, tries with no success! So could it be the fuel pump itself or the plug/wire? I think that is the one we remove when taking out the tank on bottom right. How can I test this? I visually checked the fuses, all look OK. Will check today with tester. Is there a way to test the fuel pump relay? Also just replaced both spark plugs with brand new ones. Very frustrating. Thanks.
