20002 R1150R Fule line connectors

Postby Plazmon247 » Sun Jun 26, 2011 8:25 pm

I own a 2002 R1150R with approx 27,000 miles,
Was having trouble keeping a charge on my Gel battery
Took the tanks off and disconnected the 2 fule line connectors.
I modified the Positive Battery terminal so I can actually access it if need to
Successfully connected on of the lines
BUT could not get one of them to seal and stay connected
HELP!
Is there replceements as it seems poor design
Please Advise

yes they are just CPC chrome quick disconnects, that replace the plastic ones.

When mine broke, I just used two of these and hose clamps. Its bit of a hassle when removing the tank, but no sweat to me...

With a 20,002 model the plasma drive is good for approx. 100,000,000,000,000 hours of sublight speed operation. Once you jump to warp 3 and above all bets are off.
