The seats turned out great! Looks custom but subtle...me likes. Of course it's your bike and if your happy with it that's all that really matters ;)

I wave when I can and nod otherwise if my hands are busy. Most folks around here wave back no matter what their riding. If I ever get down under AND get to ride a bike there, I'll remember that advice DJ, lol. And I don't wave to scooters around here either. If they don't have pegs to drag, they're ...

I took a 10 year hiatus from two wheels to deal with traffic here in the metro. Two years ago I decided I wanted to get back on a bike and deal with the cell phones and the stupidity... I bought an '82 Honda Silverwing to learn on again. It served it's purpose but I needed more ummmph and less down ...

Those plugs don't look bad as far as the business end is concerned. The ones I pulled out were so much worse... I think it depends alot on riding style. Those that kinda putter about are going to have terrible looking plugs with these oil heads whereas those that hit the juice periodically won't hav...

Oil changes on these bikes are fascinating to say the least. I'll agree with Boxer and say not all the oil drains back down into the sump if the bikes not warmed up to OT. A good experiment is to put the bike (cold) on it's centerstand and observe the oil level. Start the bike for 15-20 seconds and ...

I had a Craftsman 1/2" torque wrench and the plastic handle broke on it. As Mark stated they have a 1 year warranty :( I ended up buying 2 wrenches from Harbor Freight a 3/8" and a 1/2". Obviously you get what you pay for. The 1/2" wrench has no finess at all at the lower end of ...

Ditto, a couple minutes won't hurt it but any longer and it's just a waste of fuel at that point.

Nice slideshow Boxer! Looks like you two had fun :) That sofa pic where you were all Ninja, lol. Just to follow up...I installed the Deltran battery tender JR. yesterday and ran the remote connector to the front so that it's just accessible under the gas tank front right side. I don't have ABS so running it through there worked fine. This thing works like a charm. I bought the 750mA model which...

I just ordered a Deltran Battery Tender Jr. off ebay for around $30 shipped. It supposedly works with GEL and AGM batteries. I did not buy the adapter for the accessory port though. I'll just mount the remote connector somewhere I can easily get to it. I would say that the gel/agm batts don't discha...
