Booster plug to Techclusion

Just ordered a Techclusion programmer and need to remove my booster plug (open to offers if you are wanting to try one). I figured with my Leo Vince can, y-pipe, and K&N filter I might need to be able to have a bit more control over the fueling.

Re: Clutch replacement howto

I hope to break mine down this winter, but only have 18k on her right now. I figure I'll manage 25k by year's end and that should be enuf miles to discern whether I have a problem or not.

Re: Buying paint

Here's to hoping you can keep all the trash out of the paint finish. I once restored a Farmall tractor and spent $600 on paint materials alone, plus a $300 gun. Turned out OK, but not worthy of the materials and gun I had purchased. Aside from the steep learning curve, I'll never paint myself again ...

Re: Fuel strip

Thanks. I rode 30 miles and it had not budged from 46 miles to empty. Will try reset of mpg. Not sure I have even seen that. I could do without these features, for sure.

Re: Fuel strip

So, what do you fellas mean by failure? My 2010 R12R has been slow to restore Miles to Empty upon refilling. I mean really slow, and it just gradually adjusts upward. This morning, it is stuck on 46 miles to empty after my full refill. The fuel gauge however shows a full tank. Stuck on 46 miles, tho...

Re: R1150R top case options

Well, that is fantastic news. I had purchased a Givi rack and box for my R12R thinking I could use the System Cases but in reality had to remove cases and mounts to use the Givi. Expected the same thing with my 1150. Problem solved. Will order another Givi for the 1150. Thanks all.

Re: Priced right? wrt Aeroflow

Well, I can tell you that I am absolutely thrilled with the Aeroflow. My bike came with the Sport screen which uses the same mounting bracket as the BMW Touring screen. It was simply awful. As was the stock seat. Looking for a solution, I started out with the Sport fairing with the tank wings and la...

R1150R top case options

Just wondering if BMW makes a hard top case for this bike. If they do, I have not seen one. I know Givi does, but my belief is that the BMW System Cases cannot be used simultaneously. Any advice appreciated. THanks

Remus Hexacone Titanium

Some of you may be familiar with my recent struggles fitting a REMUS y-pipe onto my R1150R and retaining the System Cases. In the end, it was determined that the jig REMUS uses to fabricate this pipe must now be "tweaked" (fell of the shelf?) a bit because I just could not get it to work o...

Re: Priced right?

I figure I can ride the wheels off mine (and then buy new wheels) and still be able to get nearly what I was asking for this (when I just recently nearly "gave it away").

Re: Priced right?

Well, I did have the fellow look at it last nite. He is a new rider and a bit vertically challenged, and we both agreed despite his being impressed with the condition of the bike that he best start with something smaller. I have taken the bike off the market and will keep it. I was relieved that thi...

Re: Priced right?

Good point. It does have ABS and that was stated in my ad, I just neglected to translate here. NADA values the option at several hundred dollars. I'd say most buyers would want it; a few would not. Thanks
