Nice country on 290 between H-town/Austin and to NW towards Waco. Summer heat is a killer, though. Love bugs too, when you hit them. Now the weather should be just perfect for riding for the next 5-6 months. The Renaissance Festival should be going on right now in that area. If you go there, try the...

I have used Corbins on my last three bikes and I just loved them. They used to make individual seats for the Rocksters but I recently checked their web site and saw that the only seat they offer now is a single piece. I think that they are worth considering, although I have to agree that the ones de...

My handles stay hot...

...even when the switch is on off position. It just happened today. Also, my fuel light is steadily "on" even if the tank is full. Are these two problems related, or separate? The fuel light doesn't bother me, but I just cannot ride with the handles hot when is warm outside. Is there anyth...

I am on my fourth bike and all vibrated. I would be surprised to find a bike that doesn't vibrate. My throttle rocker helps a bit since I don't have to squeeze the handle.

Nice pics, Sigg. I like your windshield. Seems that you had some great weather for the most part of your trip.

Nice, Mike. I really like the color contrast in the pictures. Rocksters are sharp looking bikes.

That light is a joke. Mine is on steadily for the past 2000 miles. Asked the dealer to fix it and they "forgot" to do it.

After all these minor glitches and the major fuel leak that recurs every year or so, I am ready for a Harley Softail Custom.

Well, I asked Wild West Honda/BMW here in Houston/Katy that happens to be a BMW certified dealer to replace the 1-year old, plastic quick-release clamps with metallic screw-type rings and they refused. Motive was that they do not alter BMW bikes even if mine is way out of manufacturer's warranty. So...

Fuel leak question

Hello everyone, About a year ago I had a serious fuel leak between the tank and the engine that was fixed by the BMW dealer at no cost since the bike was in warranty. 8 months later I have the same problem. Bike is in shop now, but the warranty is gone so it will cost me some $. My question is - is ...
