Plenty of others have moved on to other bikes and stuck around! You got it Vann, BTW it was good to meet you, Cyclerob, Jeff and the others at the Marietta Beakster bash in "06". I was one of the lucky ones to get a r1150r shop manual CD from Cyclerob, since I've moved on to another brand...

As promised, pics of my new baby

I'm sure I'll miss the comfort and practicality of the "R", but man, this thing is sweet!

These bikes already run fairly lean from the factory and with an aftermarket exhaust PLUS Y-pipe, they'd run even leaner.
Careful Fnfalman, you'll incur the rath of Dallara.
(Sorry everyone, i still have trouble letting that go)

Thanks for the replies, i think i'll go with a sewn on patch, maybe a leather one :D . Yes DJ the smell was bad, and yes i am considering going back to leather gear. You're right Collyers my second thought(after thinking how stupid i was), was that this stuff would not hold up well in a spill!

Melted my sleeve

Since this winter in ohio has been unusually warm, I've had the good fortune of putting a couple hundred miles on the bike. Well, after the last ride while locking the bike up with a cable lock, i brushed the sleeve of my riding jacket(Joe Rocket) against the header and melted a one inch sized hole ...

Beemerphile, I think this is the thread "New2" was refering to, I did alot of research and found that i liked the wunderlich fender the best. I also considered the RS fender but it doesn't cover that balljoint and has a lower profile making(IMO) the fork area to open. http://r1150r.org/boa...
