Re: Radial Tires On An Airhead Bike
I always used Bridgestone BT45 on my R100. A great tyre - great grip and very good longevity. On my R60, I changed to Michelin Pilot Activ but I haven't had a chance to try them yet.

Re: Wanted to say hi and ask for advice

Re: A new addition to the clan....
That's funny because a black bike was my colour of choice but the silver/grey came up at a good price so I snagged it. I must keep a look out for the "R1200R" stickers that fit on the tank. I find that's one thing I prefer coming from an Airhead - everything was pretty much DIY. Having to ...

A new addition to the clan....
So after doing some research and scanning the classifieds, I picked up a '07 R :D It has 67,000 kms on the clock and came with full Givi luggage - V35 panniers and top case. It's a no frills model so there's no ABS, computer, ESA, etc etc. It does have heated grips though and a Remus muffler ! It re...

Re: Potential new R12R rider...
That's interesting. Not a deal breaker for me either way but it's nice to know what's what. It would appear to be a really non-frills bike so if it doesn't have these features. The display merely had the time and odometer besides Trip I and Trip II in miles. Oh, and the gear indicator.

Should these bikes have an oil temp display and a fuel gauge on the display ? Or did some come without ?

Both very nice bikes there - I like the old and new theme going on there !! Most unusual valve covers. I don't think I've seen those before.

That's a sweet looking bike ! And that R90S style screen suits it very well I think. Very interesting.....are they Krauser heads on your R75 ?
I notice you have a tank bag on the R12. What type is it ?
