Can i ask why you feel the need to fit more lights at the rear?

is it a big problem in the 'States being rear ended or such like ??

i have some neat led boards mounted inside the BMW clear lenses .... these are more bling than for a specific purpose. Look neat though :D

much the same.
mate milled me a 'L' brkt. sits right under the tank, (no water problems in 12 mths) but uses the 2 air box screws to fix
Diagnostic plug moved forward to allow above.

I have the Ilmberger hugger on my R.. it came from e-bay £30 plus post =D> . as rice says ...bike looks worse with it. Same fiiting as a 1150GS. 2 stainless bolt fitting. airhawks are a thing to get just right to suit you. i strap mine on to avoid blow off, and kicking it off a refuelling times. Loo...

not a R1200R, but i have just got my screen back after having it painted. Can't see how a bit of paint is going to jepodise the integrity of the screen. I presume they are plastic, seem sturdy and thick enough to take a bit of a slide, what do they sell for? as Rice' says they are made in a foundry... Aluminium £114 sterling .... whatever that is in USD. They are SUBSTANTIAL..... and came about because the original stantons are not available anymor...

'Stanton' style head guards are avaialble in the UK


Look up user 'Steptoe' on www.ukgser.com

He has them foundered in small batches,easy fit, come raw so that you can paint /coat as required.

I'm using Battlax BT021 on my '02 R after using BT020. No problems after 2000 miles plus and looks like the dual compound will do the business to get higher mileage. Same here Gregor.... though i have a pair of Conti Road Attacks ready to fit :mrgreen: Can't really vouch for the mileage out of the ...
