Re: Sport handlebar suggestions for r1150r

Re: New K1300R

Yes, also like...

Wonder if they've improved the gearbox a little more? No more *CCCCRRRUNCH* at the lights would be nice! :)

Still miss mine, no servo brakes, standard indicators, be interesting when it hits.

Re: F800RR

Gotta admit with those wheels and the naked look, with the 800cc motor it'd be a great little package

I'd give thumbs up for it!

the K's feel a little slow to respond at slow speeds initially, but are much more "flickable" when going faster....

When I first got the KR it had a much coarser motor which since the updates has been rectified. Starts/idles and goes so much smoother, (perhaps the milage as well helps I've done a shade over 13K now). I'd have not said the vibration was worse than any I4 when you're going hard. Certainly in compar...

ST's seat kinda forced your nurries at the front a bit, but was better in my view (that being the large cushy bit I sit on) whereas the Rockster always seemed to cut into the inner thighs. You have a deal more weight on the wrists as well... Whereas the KR? you accelerate, this keeps ALL the weight ...

hell Ranmar that's what I did also, VERY neat toy, and the pull that bike has compared to the Rockster was great!

My wife says the K12R is ok for 100-150K's before a break, the R12ST and R1150R was better apparently....

I use a ventura bag rack on mine (which can be used with the pannier kit fitted) and she finds that easier to grip as it's a little higher.

Must admit, I really do like the R1200S. It's a great looking bike, maybe a little easier on the eye that the K1200R. I'm not saying better, just depends on your perspective; The R1200S is more pleasing to the eye, perhaps the sort of bike 'ya mother would like you to bring home. Whereas the K1200R...
