Gotta admit the sports rims look the mince.. from what I've read on the R1100S board where they used the bigger tyre it slows the handling down.. can't say I've experienced to confirm

At least 180's a way common size...

Easiest way would be to go to the back of the bulb in the headlight, use a multimeter Identify the low beam (probably have to start the bike to get it on) wire, and then tap into that and run that feed to the driving light switch. Has the shop given you any idea on parts wait? and are the instrument mounts ok?
