Re: Snap crackle and POP!

mine does this a sometimes during summer if its hot, and only turned off briefly. Immediately obvious to me it was a pre ignition issue. I always imagined it just has to do with where in the revolution the engine stopped.... dont consider it harmful.

my wife is leaning on me to get a new bike. I thought II could, but I just cant. Only mid 30's for miles... NO reason to unload it. New bike, while WAAAAY nice, and awesome MPG's etc, doesnt do anything Mine cant, really.

I'm with Kirby get the BMW system cases. I LOVE mine. durable, and big.

Re: Bike Value and Upgrades

yeah its annoying... but Im not selling my bike...so dont care lol

the annoying thing is the compulsory comments about the bikes price, such as: "BMW huh, must be nice to afford that, you must make more than I do"

me: "at least were not talking harley money"

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Removal

On the right-hand-side of the bike, the crossbar in front of the rear shocker is clamped by two bolts. Undo them and the transverse bolt on the footpeg carrier, then move to the LH side. Often the bolt at the top of the rhomboid-shaped footpeg carrier on that LH side is dry-welded into the alloy cr...

Re: BMW waterproof gear-anybody use it?

For cold, I use tourmaster stuff. If it's warm, I'll use the JR liner on top and a pair of cheap plastic campin...
