Idle / Throttle Problem
My '04 R1150R seems to have developed an inconsistant idle and a hesitation/miss when getting on the gas in 3rd gear and higher. I did a valve adj and throttle synch recently using a twin-max, but still have the inconsistant idle. The bike idles fine when cold, but once warmed up it will idle at 110...

Taipan, My 2004 Roadster just started doing the same thing and I wondered if you figured out what was causing the problem. It is very noticeable in 3rd and 4th gear under hard acceleration. My bike has 18,000 miles on the clock and I have not changed my spark plugs yet. Additionally, I accidently pu...

You might ask others about a Parabellum Scout Fairing for the R1150R. I know someone who has this fairing on a R1100R and loves it. I believe one or two members of this site have put them on their R1150R. They are advertised in the BMW MOA and BMW RA mags and have a website at http://www.parabellum....

Had a 4 cyl Kaw Concours and you synch'd the two left carbs first, the two right carbs next and than the two middle carbs to synch both sets (the carb to the #3 cyl was the base carb according to Kaw). I would assume that on the ST you would synch both throttle bodies on one side of the V, than sync...
