Aux light mounts
What manufacture was it that made some really nice aluminum [fork] mounts for aux lights, on the 1150 "Roadster's" non-round fork tubes? They mounted on the tubes just below the seal area. I have seen them , but just cannot remember what brand they were, have googled & googled cannot f...

Re: Speedster aka Flyscreen kit
Not 100% sure?...but I believe the two speedster brackets, are the same as two [of the four] touring shield brackets....{the upper ones perhaps}
I have seen them from time to time on Beemer-Boneyard. Also you may want to try Re-Psycle BMW. It seems when no one has ?? He has three.

Re: My Laminar Lip blew off!
Another suggestion...With the BMW touring shield I get good results with the Wunderlich air deflector....very adjustable , and can be folded down out of the way when the temp climbs in traffic.

Hard to imagine a company like BMW ever letting that noise make it through final production. I'm sure they could have changed design to eliminate it.

Over on the 'Roadster' forum there is a member attempting to fit 'GS' hubs, and lace the proper size rims to them. She hasn't posted in a while though.

Re: Harley advantages over BMW, any?
Years ago...long story but I had a guy say that my R100CS was a nice 'little' BMW....he then asked when I was going to "move up" to a Harley. My answer was and it's true....my first motorcycle was a Harley....and I've been moving up ever since. He didn't respond.
